Zhara Mian is an internationally recognized personal chef and consultant who has spent over 18 years honing her craft in the hospitality industry. She began The Transient Chef with the vision of bringing transcending, yet affordable menus and restaurant experiences to clients around the globe. Her passion for reimagining culinary classics into creative fusions matches her drive to bring a truly personalized dining experience to clients wherever they are in the world. From her roots at a small bakery in her Canadian hometown, she has expanded her culinary horizons globally, having worked and studied across North America, Europe, South America and Asia. She holds two certificates in molecular and gastronomic sciences from Harvard and has completed her WSET 2. She has been a finalist for the Hawksworth Young Chef Scholarship and the Garland Culinary Competition as well as having represented Denmark at the 5th World Tapas Championship in Valladolid Spain. With operational bases in Canada, Belgium, Denmark, and the UK;
her food services are available worldwide and she stands ready to bring her international culinary acumen anywhere her clients wish to "Eat well".
